I'm looking for something witty to say up here and I'm drawing a blank - I'm sure you can do better or just edit this out. You can also use this div to get in some additional info at the bottom.


Hey everyone,

Do you remember the first time I disappointed you with no fangame coming out or any visual progress whatsoever? I don't. I've done it so many times to you guys I'm sure you don't and I'm sure you're numb to it by now. But this Digimon mini-game I took on is way harder and taking much longer than I thought it would. It's taken months to do a working demo; how could I expect to do so much in two weeks?

I mean I still have only one Digimon done, still missing 99% of my maps, only one protagonist done and no events. And speaking of two weeks, one of them has passed. It's true I've made 95% of the menus custom as well as editing basically all the scripts so you're creatures are referred to "Digimon" rather than "Pokemon" but that's basically it; and surprisingly was a lot of work.

I guess what it all boils down to is the fact that I'm gonna keep going but odd are I will be disappointing at least 80-90% of the people I had told would be in the game one way or another. So over the course of today I need to make a decision:

Which is more important, the length and complexity of the game or the amount of people who reside within it?


Because I can keep going the way I am but I can pretty much guarantee that the amount of protagonists available will be anywhere from 3-5. But if say I cut down to two ways to get to the ship I can at least double that. Because it means less events to program, Digimon enemies to program and maps to come up with. So it's a choice between more exploration and less of choosing who you want to play as or the opposite. I guess we'll just see how things go.
